Sky Mobile SIM Only plans ('Mix' plans) are flexible — you can change data allowance every month without penalty. Available data tiers from 1GB up to Unlimited. Price examples: 10GB ~£6/month, 50GB ~£11/month, Unlimited ~£20/month. All plans include unlimited calls and texts. Piggybank data rollover on all non-unlimited plans. Note: Sky Mobile applies RPI-linked price changes with 30 days' notice and a penalty-free exit right.
Sky Mobile's 'Swap12' scheme allows you to upgrade to a new phone every 12 months by returning your current device in good condition. Device plans (called 'Watch Plans') run 24–36 months. All major handsets available (iPhone, Samsung, Google Pixel). Billing can be combined with Sky TV and broadband.
Sky Mobile doesn't prominently offer traditional PAYG — it's primarily a contract/rolling plan provider. For maximum flexibility, the 30-day Mix plans function similarly to rolling SIM Only and can be changed month-to-month.
Sky Mobile supports eSIM on compatible devices (iPhones and selected Android). Activate through the Sky Mobile app or via QR code. eSIM available on all plan types.
Sky Mobile runs on O2's network — providing 4G coverage to 99% of the UK population. 5G available via O2's network (77%+ population). No separate Sky Mobile coverage — use O2's coverage checker for accurate postcode-level results.
Sky Mobile includes EU roaming via its 'Roam' add-on. Unlike O2 direct which includes EU roaming free, Sky Mobile applies a daily charge for EU roaming unless you have a Roam add-on. This is a notable difference from O2 — despite running on O2's network. Worth checking your specific plan's roaming terms before travelling.
