BT Mobile was relaunched on 20 May 2026 as part of BT Group's 'Behind Brilliant Things' brand refresh — after stopping new customer sign-ups in October 2023 (when BT had been pushing EE as its flagship mobile brand). The relaunched BT Mobile is available exclusively to BT Consumer broadband customers, delivered via eSIM (no physical SIM card). It runs on EE's network — the UK's fastest and widest 5G. The relaunch includes AI-powered scam call screening features. BT Mobile is positioned as a broadband-bundle add-on rather than a standalone competitor.
